3. Access to Our Website
When visiting our website, we process personal data to ensure the smooth, functional, and secure operation of our website. The following data may be processed (so-called log files):
The collection of log files is technically necessary to display our website and to ensure its stability and security. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating the website in a secure and functional manner, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The hosting of this website is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement. Your data will be processed in a data center located in Germany and will be deleted no later than two weeks after collection.
4. Contact Forms
When you contact us via our forms, we require certain personal data to process your request. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. If these fields are not filled in, we may not be able to process your request. Additional information is not mandatory for contacting us and is provided voluntarily, based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. The email inbox associated with the forms is provided by Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, Washington 98052, USA). Data processing generally takes place within the EU. However, data transfer to Microsoft in the USA (a third country) cannot be fully excluded. We have therefore entered into a data processing agreement with Microsoft, based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses are available on the European Commission’s website.
4.1 General Contact Form
For our general contact form, your personal data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR to initiate or perform pre-contractual measures, as well as in accordance with our legitimate interest in processing and responding to your request, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Your personal data will be deleted, subject to statutory retention periods, as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, i.e., when your request has been fully processed and no further communication is required or desired by you.
5. Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager service provided by Google. “Google” refers to a corporate group consisting of Google Ireland Ltd. (the service provider), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, as well as other affiliated companies of Google LLC. The Google Tag Manager is a technical service and processes personal data only for essential technical purposes. It serves to load other components that may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access these data itself. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google, based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses are available on the European Commission’s website. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in improving our website and enabling accessible integration of plug-ins and other content in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

7.2 Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The cookie used for this purpose allows us to analyze the usage of our website. Google processes this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The information generated by the cookie may be transferred to a Google LLC server in the USA and stored there. On our website, Google Analytics has been extended with the “anonymizeIp” function to ensure that IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking). This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within the EU member states or other contracting states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA (third country) and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the browser in connection with Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google, based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses are available on the European Commission’s website. The legal basis for using Google Analytics is your consent, as per Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, granted via the cookie banner and which can be revoked at any time without providing reasons, with effect for the future. The personal data processed by Google Analytics will be stored for 14 months and then automatically deleted.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by us. If so, we will provide you with information about this personal data and the information listed in Art. 15 GDPR. Furthermore, subject to legal requirements, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR); the lawfulness of processing based on consent until the withdrawal remains unaffected. Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes data protection laws (Art. 77 GDPR).
